German NEO Expressionism

A number of lectures and guided tours will offer those enrolled with an informative summary of the social and artistic components of the German Expressionist movement, while the powerful influence this activity along with newer political occasions experienced on visual art manufactured in Germany today.

Mini-exhibitions:
Photographer associated with Weimar Republic, a selection of photographic images and faces from the Weimar Republic, organized because of the Goethe Institute, Chicago, is on show at the Smart Gallery through July 1, along with An alle Kunstler! War-Revolution-Weimar.

Julia Bernard and Robin Reisenfeld, graduate students through the University of Chicago Department of Art History, will informally talk about aspects of the event German Neo-Expressionist Graphics on Renaissance community.

Film Series:
