Pop Art activity

This resource is aimed at KS3 students and contains a 3D outcome in addition to drawing elements and contextual literacy lessons. The SOW can last 14 hours (which at my school will be through the duration of time I see 12 months 8 for Summer term). This resource comes with a pupils tracker, an outline of how the device will hit the National Curriculum Art objectives and in addition a Lesson-by-lesson plan. Lesson one- Introduction into Pop-Art and videos embedded in Powerpoint of a Tate introduction to Pop Art. Lesson 2- A re-cap of key facts of Pop Art and kewaii japanese pop music art dessert styles. Lesson 3, 4, 5, 6- owerpoint of detail by detail guide of how to make a cup-cake using a plant cooking pot and paper mache. Lesson 7- An introduction into singer Wayne Thiebaud, a collaborative task of simple tips to present research on the musician. Lesson 8, 9- Drawing like Wayne Thiebaud lessons. Lesson 10, 11, 12, 13- Mixed Media monoprint/carbon printing and stitching task.
