A superb painting by Gregory Robinson, a highly accomplished marine artist born at Plymouth. He studied at the Royal Academy and during the years 1907 to 1934 exhibited at: Royal Academy, Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool and Walkers Gallery in London. His paintings depict a bygone era of steamship travel, you can feel the rolling waves and thrashing rain. Has the artists signature lower right. The artist spent four years at sea during World War One.
An excellent investment!
