A beautiful painting with fine detail by an accomplished artist of the period. Phillip Mitchell was a landscape painter who served in the navy and later settled in Plymouth, Devon. He was a member of the R.I. and also the N.W.S. some of his work is on display in the Exeter museum and also Plymouth city library. This example is in almost mint condition!
